Quotes from the Author:

“This was my first event promoting The Power of Art: When My Feelings Can’t Talk. I was really nervous, but once I sat on the stage with all of those innocent little eyes looking up at me, the fear melted away and the story told itself.

Afterwards, the kids asked insightful questions like ‘can you be mad and sad at the same time?’ One boy even asked me if I was a professional story reader. When I told him I was the author, his face lit up with awe.

I had a mom tell me that because she has two kids in her family on the spectrum, the book ‘really hit home.’ Seeing my work positively affect children and families felt incredible. I can’t wait to get these books into as many little hands as possible.”
